Subject: Re: HOLE DIAMETERS

: I want to create my own new footprints and use mils. Can I specify any dimension (above your minimum)and do you then round it up to your nearest drill size?If so what is the accuracy for drill sizes you can guarantee?

Hi Mr. Gibson,
The smallest drill bit we use in PCB-Pool is 0.4mm. After plating this hole size will decrease to 0.25mm as plating decreases the hole by about 0.15mm for double sided plated through holes.

You must supply us with the finished hole sizes you require and we will compensate for plating in our production process, (taking note that 0.4mm is our smallest drill bit before plating).

In PCB Pool we round all drill sizes to the nearest 0.1mm.

Best Regards
Your Pcb-Pool Team
